December Member of the Month! - Mike Meyers

Driven, coachable, and consistent. Those are just a few of the reasons we picked Mike for our December Member of the Month. He's a great addition to our Crossfit family and we can't wait to see what the future brings! Mike was nice enough to answer a few questions about why he started and what keeps him coming back.

Why did you start Crossfit?

As I get older and progress in my career I noticed that I was becoming less and less active and I knew it was time to make a change. I was interested in Crossfit because constantly changing workouts and the challenge. I tried the first class in August and was hooked right away. Almost immediately I started noticing results. I feel stronger and more flexible but I know there is a long way to go. I also noticed my mind seems more clear on the day’s I workout.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I’d say I’m most proud of being able to do some pull-ups. They are something I always wanted to do and are coming along nicely.

What’s your next goal?

I would like to RX all of the workouts. I also want to continue to work on pull-ups until I can do all of the sets in a workout.
