So you’ve committed to working out during the shutdown. You’re still getting several workouts every week, but they just don’t quite have the same intensity. Aside from losing access to a facility with lots of equipment, we’ve lost the main reason many of us keep showing up to the gym - the community. There’s nobody next to you fighting through the same tough workout, there are no scores on the whiteboard to compare with, and there are no high fives at the end of class. While we can’t get back to normal quite yet, there are some other options.
Join our virtual workouts! Just knowing someone is on the other side of that screen cursing Burpees as much as you are makes it easier to push through.
Members, post your scores in the Facebook group. It’s not going to make today’s score any better, but it might help tomorrow!
Get yourself a workout buddy! You don’t have to workout at the same time, but let them know you did it. Tell them your favorite part or your least favorite (although I’m sure you loved it all). The circumstances are what they are. Let’s make the best of it!
