October Member of the Month - Anna

Congratulations to our October member of the month, Anna! Somehow, this girl manages to smile through any workout! She was kind enough to answer a few questions about her experience with Crossfit. Check it out!


•What is your fitness background and what made you want to start CrossFit?•


I decided I needed something challenging that would push me to be my best self. My boyfriend had been going to Free Will and shared nothing but great things about the members and staff, I decided to give Crossfit a shot. Before starting crossfit, I was a high school cheerleader and spent some time in the school's weight room, but other than that I had a limited fitness background. I've been a proud member of Free Will crossfit for a few months now, after an unrelated injury I'm back and am enjoying the gym more than ever.


•What accomplishments are you most proud of?•


I'm most proud of the general progress I see in myself. I now have more fitness knowledge and can incorporate that into my own personal workouts at home. I also see myself improving my form, strength, and overall fitness each time I enter the gym.


•What’s your next goal?•


Honestly my goal is to just keep getting better, never stop pushing. I want to continue getting stronger and push myself to lift more. One of the most satisfying parts about crossfit is watching your numbers increase.


PS. Free Will is one of the best atmospheres i've ever experienced, the members and coaching staff make the environment so inviting. It amazes me how such an amazing group of people has come together to share a passion for crossfit. We share endless laughs, and encourage each other to never stop pushing. I truly am so proud and happy to be a part of Free Will Crossfit. :)

If you are looking for a challenge that is fun and rewarding, this is the place. The welcoming and knowledgeable coaches push you while making sure you are lifting safely with proper form. There is a place for every fitness level at this gym with all the workout being scalable. Each week I see myself improving and gaining confidence.
