Why do you do CrossFit?  

The hour that I spend doing CrossFit is my sanity.  Just grinding through a workout with others takes my mind off of the busy things in life, I love the competitive nature of the workouts, the humbling feeling that I can always improve on something and the amazing community.

What do you do for a living?

I manage an IT service desk and onsite support team for a furniture company based in East Greenville. 

What is your best advice for someone just starting CrossFit?

Embrace the suck. Scale down the weight or movement if needed and be patient, there is a lot to learn.

What is your favorite kind of workout or movement? 

Chipper workouts are my favorite. I also love any barbell workout with some cardio like the rower, running or bike thrown in. 

What’s your favorite activity/hobby outside the gym?

Relaxing and sleeping. With a five year old and two 6 month old twins, I don’t get to do it often.
