This lady has been kicking some serious butt since she started! As she’ll tell you below, she wasn’t 100% sold on CrossFit right away, but, in true Christine style, she was willing to try. From the first time we met her, we had no doubts that this was going to be a great fit for her. Now, she’s a regular on the commited club and we see her strength, endurance, and confidence growing every week. Yet another amazing member we feel lucky to get the chance to work with. Keep killing it Christine!

1. What were your goals when you started CrossFit?

To be honest I didn’t want to join at first. My husband signed us up for a consultation, and I wasn’t very happy about it. I didn’t feel like I was ready or “in shape” enough to workout in front of other people because I wasn’t as fit as I once was. Once I started, I realized Freewill was just what I needed. Everyone was so welcoming, and I had a new family and support group!  Soon after I started I surprised myself and was able to do things I wasn’t sure I would be able to.

2. How long have you been at Free Will CrossFit?

6 months. We had been working out a home for many years and the same old workouts just weren’t working anymore as I got older. In these 6 months, I have noticed many physical and mental changes that I definitely needed!

3. What is one health/fitness goal that you plan to achieve in the next 6 months?

I would like to be able to do a pull up again! 

4. What do you do for a living?

I am a 3rd Grade teacher

5. You have control of the music. What artists/songs will dominate the playlist?

I like all genres of music!  It could be anything from Journey, to Poison, to The Beatles, or even LL Cool J:)
